This name takes me back! I remember seeing the trailer for this and thinking I can’t wait to see that!! The name alone sounded exciting! … But then it got lost in the shuffle of life and I completely forgot about it.
But last night while I was browsing and watching videos of Word of Honor (for the millionth time, go watch that if you haven’t! ITS SOOO GOOD! Seriously right up there with Untamed! and I am a HUGE fan of The Untamed!). But anyway, so I stumbled across it in my suggestions list and a lightbulb went off… It was That show! :O
It was time my friends. It was time to click into it. I readily clicked into this magnificent sounding title ready to begin a journey… Hahaha I have no idea what this is about to be honest, but the name got me so here we is.
So from what I gather, there is a novel, manga, anime and a game of this show. I will have to go and investigate all of them if I really like this series!

Immediately we’ve got a great interesting intro! Grabbed my non existent attention span and held it. This is already a huge win for me LOL.
And immediately we’ve jumped headfirst into the sour faced love and the drama! GASP! We have betrayal already from two people! Deep rooted horrible betrayal!!
I’m so interested in seeing where this goes. I love that we just jumped right into it and it didn’t take a million years to tell the story of the sad.

LOLOL him defending his mom was so cute!! Also the fact that she looks so young is really throwing me off. But anyway, him defending his mom was like a teenagers dream of protecting his mom, it was cute lol.
Also I can officially say I am getting old because I really thought the sentence of “Dang these youngsters get so angry so quickly” then I smacked myself in the forehead for even daring to think such a thing… I am old 🙁
But no, it is seriously hilarious how fast everyone just throws fists and yields magic! It has cracked me up several times and then you got him, the main character, looking so serious and I’m sorry, a bit stuck up hahaha.
But I am Loving his character so far!!!

Also the premise of this story, after doing some research and adding the description in, is that he is a high God who lived in the heavens and was basically thrown out and I guess his spirit went into this body. However, how they are doing it is very different from how others have done it and I am quite enjoying it.
Its like both people KNOW something is off and wrong but just accept it and are figuring things out. I quite really like it so far.

Also let us just take a moment and start a fandom for Qin Chen’s WIG! :O His wig is STUNNING!!! It looks soo beautiful and glossy and healthy and silky and and and… and all the dang words :O :O :O Whoever has been taking care of that wig deserves a RAISE!!!

Qin Chen is so stinken smug and arrogant!! …. I’m living for it! Let alll that baddie come out lil mister!

This is definitely a lower budget show than others I have seen with some pretty silly fake scenes but I am quite enjoying the storyline so its definitely overtaking those lower budget moments at the moment!

This drama is so over the top that it really does crack me up. It’s not bad at all, the storyline is interesting and I love all the fights with magic, but the acting is overboard. If this had a higher budget with some better CGI, this could have been really high up on people’s watch list.

I love the fact that Qin Chen is just a cool cookie. He gunna wallop you no matter what! He is very much confident which borderline’s on arrogant.
Either way, he backs up his swag so there is that! LOL

The scheming Aunt and her son are soo annoying and over the top! What do you think is going to happen to you if you are doing evil deeds!?!

I have to admit, I’m pretty confused on how they are doing Qin Chen’s character. Obviously he has memories for both people but they have no outright came out and said he was re-incarnated into this dudes body… He is acting like he is Qin Chen and has his memories but also he obviously has the power and the style of the almighty dude, but they way they are going about this is interesting, as most shows typically make it straight right off the bat.
Did the Qin Chen mortal dude die when he was in the attack or is his subconscious somewhere in there?
I have questions that NEED ANSWERS! But alas I think that’s what happened, the original boy died and Qin Chen the immortal took over his body.

It cracks me up that he keeps winning over all the old masters and they are chummy up to him because they want favors later on and know that he’s a powerful dude, hahahaha.
Ahahaha I just love his friends expressions, they are so funny!
Also I find it so funny that they constantly doubt Qin Chen’s power even when he surpasses their level by leaps and folds… like what?? That doesn’t make any sense. And then they call him arrogant and faking it when they don’t even have half the power he does. LOL

His family is nuts lol, the crazy aunt and uncle, his poor mother getting stuck with them D: And the Prince’s character is sooo annoying!
Oooh we’ve finally entered Qin Feng! The older brother, another cousin of Chen’s.
Hahaha that Qin Fen keeps getting beat up! He just won’t learn!
Baaahahahaha the Chief teaching all the brats a lesson! That was so satisfying!

Holy ghiz whiz!!! Now THATS A CARRIAGE!!! :O :O That’s the biggest carriage I’ve ever seen on any show!! Even super high budget shows!! In fact, most high high budget shows usually have small tiny carriages lol.

Bahahahaha he accidentally broke into the girls section, he almost died! That lady was sooo mad. That was a funny scene lol

I am loving that he has his friend supporting him and he is making friends along the way. His attitude is very high ended but considering who he is it makes sense as to why he is so smug, and at first impression he does appear super arrogant but he is actually very nice and mostly respectful… mostly.
He definitely has his moments where he could respect the Elders a bit more.

So I am curious as to when this show is going to fully tie things together from the first episode. He has is journey of getting stronger but we have seen a small murmuring of the ones who betrayed him and that’s been it. And I’ve watched quite a few episodes… in fact, I keep expecting this show to wrap up but I should check and see how many episodes it has….. Be Right Back.

Ooh it has 30 episodes, alright, so it should be wrapping up here soon as I am on episode 27.

You know what is also funny? I feel as if a teenage boy, maybe around sixteen to seventeen years old wrote this. With the “I’ll protect you!” and the immediate drop of a hat fighting, it really feels as if I’m inside a teenage boys mind. Its kind of cute actually! That they are still growing and wanting to protect everyone and their loved ones but they aren’t quite mature enough to know what “protecting” means so they are ready to fight and what not… I’m not sure if I am explaining that right but alas, its cute either way!

LOLOL Qiming is my spirit man! He is so relatable to me.

THE STORYLINE ISN’T FINISHED????????????? I guess they are leaving it open for a season two… tsch. How dare they do this :O
Anyway, this was a fun light hearted watch some some fun fight scenes! The magic was fun to watch. This is no high end show but this definitely had its promises and the main character is handsome and smug which is a bit attractive with him being so confident in himself.

Definitely worth a watch if you want an action pack filled story with minimal story plot!
