Description from Iq:

“Lin Yumeng stands up for her friend who has been deceived by her playboy boyfriend. The confrontation escalates from a war of words to a full-blown physical fight. As a martial arts descendent, Lin Yumeng, in the midst of a quibble, “accidentally” damages a luxury car, leading to an absurd situation where she is unable to compensate the whimsical owner, Ji Lingsu. He insists that she sign a contract to settle the debt! After marriage, Lin Yumeng’s life undergoes a drastic transformation. She is subjected to various arrangements and “bullying” by Ji Dashao. As she delves deeper into the understanding of the Ji family, Lin Yumeng starts to sympathize with her contractual husband. She actively disrupts the stepmother’s conspiracy and secures her biological mother’s shares. In the process, she inadvertently “loses” her own heart. What was initially just a “contract marriage” turns into a genuine connection between the male and female protagonists. Oh well, since it’s a beautiful mistake, might as well go all the way with it!”

I’ll confess, I wasn’t too sure when I first saw that the episodes were so short but I wanted something short to watch and this caught my interest with only 24 episodes so I clicked into it. I didn’t pay attention to how much time the episode took until it went to the second episode… Then I realized these were only about ten minutes long. Which interesting concept but okay, I can get behind it. Basically a movie!
So I’m diving in but with the knowledge I don’t hold this type of show to high standards or think it’ll be amazing, so I’m going into it with low expectations.

The first episode was pretty decent right off the bat! The lead actress comes on with a strong character and I am loving that at the moment! She’s defending her best friend and standing her ground.
The main male lead made his entrance and he already executed a “rizz” type move that was cute and for many a ‘squeal’ moment! The first episode ended with a scene from the main lead actress and her bestie and it definitely made me laugh! One thing I gotta give it to the Chinese for, they always invent funny random scenes that most American shows don’t think about. And the Chinese will make shows about ANY topic, it truly is wild.

One time I even accidentally watched a show about Ping Pong… PING PONG. Although it is not my fault…. I got tricked into it… blame Wang Yibo!! I thought Wang Yibo was the lead in that ping pong show… (that’s the name of it, PING PONG) because I seen the cover and just clicked without any other thought…. (CAN YOU BLAME ME??? YOU WOULD TOO IF YOU THOUGHT IT WAS WANG YIBO!!! Don’t judge me!).
But alas I started watching it and it was NOT Wang Yibo… then I thought it was Cheng Yi but then I started watching it more and turns out it was Bai Jingting!!
So then I stayed for Bai Jingting… but then I watched it more than half way and have yet to finish that one… *muses*.
Anyway, I digress! Back to the topic at hand!

The slight fear the two men have at the main lead actress when she’s demonstrating moves on her livestream cracked me up!
This show says the genre is drama but the first two episodes are pretty funny in my opinion.
I really love that the lead actress has such a strong character! Not letting people walk all over her. I love it!

So far this is a pretty light hearted hilarious show! I am enjoying it and laughing at unexpected things, such as the end of episode 9! HAHAHAHA!
That was good, took me by surprise and I accidentally let out a loud laugh!

EWWWWWWWW the kiss at the end of episode 12 was so butterfly and warm and gooey!!! EWWWW!
AHAHAHA this show is so cringy!! I love it!
When he picks her up and slams the door shut with his foot, wooooo so manly and sexy!
I have to say one of the small details that I have enjoyed so far is seeing the male lead wear armbands! While it may be a bit outdated, it is also super attractive for some reason to me. It tickles my fancy, you could say… >.>
This series had your typical evil stepmother, a father that didn’t want to listen and kept pushing and a annoying extra girl that kept trying for the main lead.
There, of course, was the “big” fall out between the two main leads that thankfully didn’t last long!
All in all I really enjoyed this!!

This definitely isn’t amazing production or scene wise, but it was all in all a funny lighthearted show that had some drama thrown in with several details missing here and there… but heckers, the main leads were so cute together that we just don’t care!!
Check it out if you want a lower type budget show that will get you some laughs, cringe moments and love sick looks with a couple of squeal moments! For a 24 episode show only lasting about 11 mins per episode, I really do think this turned out pretty good!!
However I will say I was watching on IQ and the last episode seems to have been slightly cut off and that makes me sad.
