Oh my goodness! I didn’t know what a ride going into this C-drama show would be! I was immediately laughing and continued on strong for several episodes.
The storyline is funny and decent, the script is filled with hilarious back and forth conversation and I am enjoying the push and pull between the main leads!
On episode four we are introduced to a more serious past from the male lead and how that leads to his psychological behavioral change at times.
Some cringe scenes that caused you to laugh out of embarrassment but also laugh and cheer for the lead actress.
The background characters are the moment are giving cheer support and are hilarious. Like best friends cheering you on and going crazy for you in the background providing the giggles and the gossip.

A Chinese Drama called “Perfect Mismatch” with the following description from IQIYI:

“Shi Huahua, a wild girl from the countryside, is skilled in martial arts. On her way to the mountains alone for training, she promised her master to do “98 good deeds.” When she first enters the big city, she becomes the spokesperson of a company by mistake and saves the two-faced boss, Zhou Zhifei. The boss is caught in a family feud and his inner trauma has relapsed. A seemingly coincidental yet is actually a story full of fate thus unfolded. The two people’s contrasting upbringing, attitudes and lifestyles are brought together and the two of them gain healing from each other. Surrounded by family, friendship and love, both of them eventually realize the end goal of their life and achieve a beautiful love that best suits each other.”

It has 24 episodes with a duration of about 28 minute play time per episode.

To be noted IQIYI is a streaming service for Chinese/Korean drama’s.

The lead actress is full of vigor and energy, constantly trying to giver her all and make it through the job that her Master’s friend set her up with.
The lead male actor is the CEO of the company and his Grandfather worries about his health and ends up putting Shi Huahua in charge of taking care of him.
This of course upsets Zhou Zhifei and he begins to do what he can to make her quit.
However Shi Huahua is stubborn and believes in keeping her word.
What unfolds is a hilarious push back and forth between the two.

Maybe its because I was tired and sleep deprived when I watched this, that made it that much more funny to me, I’m not entirely sure. Either way, what I AM sure of is the fact that its hilarious.

Alright I took a break and I came back after finishing so here is the last of my thoughts on this…

Not to give to many spoilers away but episode 5 was soooooo cringy and embarrassing I died a little inside getting through it.
Episode 6 sooooo super annoyed me but I made it through it and past it!

One of the things I’ve been absolutely enjoying about this show is that the office crew is all nice and encouraging, unlike 99 percent of other shows where they are mean and backstabbing.

It has been super refreshing!

Of course we can’t forget the second lead lady that wants the male that wants nothing to do with her.
I will say, these tropes are super annoying to watch, especially because of the (sometimes unrealistic) lengths they go too.

(Here is a note to everyone, if someone seems truly un-interested in you, don’t keep begging them to be in your life. Realize you are special and deserving of love that doesn’t require begging for attention, time or effort from the other.)

I am on episode 18 and so far have been mostly pleased with the progress of the story; however I feel as if this show would have been great for a 18 to 20 episode series. The last few episodes I have watched seem more like fluff/filler episodes.
I am hoping they go in and focus a little more on the male leads past trauma and not so much on the evil female lead that’s trying to get him.

******

As I progress to the last several episodes I am not happy with the direction they are making the younger brother take. I’m quite annoyed with it. Especially with how well his character was doing in the earlier episodes.

ARRGGHH. I finished the show. I’m am SO mad with the direction they took.
This series started off so strong and full of comendy with a dash of trauma.

It was interesting and even inspiring with belly laugh scenes. The more this show progressed the more out of whack it seemed.
Initially it makes you believe it’s a romcom but the further you get it randomly switches over and goes into sad tragic serious mode, which lets be honest, most shows don’t tend to transition very well into that phase so it wasn’t suprising this one didn’t as well.
They gave several dumb filler episodes and randomly made a brother who was supporting him the entire time, who grew up with love and being cared for, into a monster.
Yes taking into account some of the things he had to faced makes sense of why he would have some of the trauma he does, but the lengths they made him go to to be the bad guy literally ruined the entire show for me.
I wanted to recommend this series, I wanted to love it! I wanted to say watch it, it’s worth it! But now after finishing it, I can’t do that.

I’m sooooo annoyed with how they ruined this series.
It started off so amazing, it had such potential!! SUCH POTENTIAL!

I am pleased the leads stayed together, the second leads were also super cute to watch.

Grandpa was amazing!
They finally did dive more into the male leads past but after all the filler episodes I feel like they rushed it and he just overcame it with a snap of the fingers. GRRR. There was SUCH potential!

I just cannot believe they did this. Its like there was a set of writers in the first half of the series and then a new set in the second half.

I wanted to give this a 10/10 rating but that was a dream.
I would say 7/10 for rating.
The actors and actresses all did pretty good, the first half of the storyline was excellent with great bantering. The office crew being nice and heartwarming was so wonderful to watch.

So suffice to say if you wanna watch this, I would say this is one for a day when you are bored and want something that’s easy to follow the story and enjoy a few laughs.
The romance between the main and second leads are enjoyable for the most part.

All in all I’m glad the series is over with, I think I would not have made it if there was more episodes to watch. Hahaha.

What shows do you enjoy watching and would give a high rating too?
