I’ve seen this advertised here and there and decided to click onto it… Well let me tell you, I binged watched the heck out of this series!!!
If you are looking for a good bromance with friendships that will have your back even though you are going through hard times, and finding truth and strength in your passion for your dreams, This is it!!!

Now while most of the faces in this series look familiar, I think I only know Jin Xiao! I’ve seen him in: Have A Crush On You. Which I have reviewed here if you’d like to read it! https://letsreviewtogether.com/have-a-crush-on-you-c-drama/
This cast had quite the cutie patooties in! And the dude who played Fatty looks like a bodyguard and I would love to see him in such a role! D: huh I am not even finding out who played him… Does anyone know??

But Alas, this was such a good series!!! I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A show about preserving and standing up for your beliefs and being passionate about what you love. Never giving in, even though the pressure and the scariness of the reality can be crushing.

The story mostly focuses on the two main characters, Qi Tian and Xue Yiran. Both men did a great job portraying their characters! In fact, everyone in the entire series did a great job with their characters.
I honestly don’t even have much complaints. There was two thing out of the entire 24 episodes that bothered me and that was them not being consistent with Xue’s scars on his shoulders and back. The second thing (and slight spoiler alert), I really didn’t like how the Coach said those words about Xue at the very end of the show, as if Xue had any choice in the matter and his words weren’t even entirely true.

It was a straight up wholesome show of brotherhood and knowing that in order to achieve your dreams, you HAVE to work hard. And sometimes that means facing yourself and realizing you are your own worst enemy.
There was enough character depth to everyone that we got a good sense of them and to realize each of their own battles.

This series had me rooting for them, sad for them, perhaps passed a few tears for them, had me laugh in moments and nodding at the show of friendship.
The 24 episode length was PERFECT! They completed the series with all the details to everyone’s stories and wrapped it up well!

OH! And the Coach was great throughout the whole series! So chill :O The chillest (is that a word?) coach I’ve seen in any type of shows like this!

Anyhoooo if you are on the fence about this one, don’t be! Dive into it! You’ll come away feeling good about yourself and feeling your passion to believe in yourself and your dream! And to fight for it!!
Highly recommend this one!!!
